yayay! finally my kids site is live! whoot!
Ryan Malmberg of Finch Designs created the site, he has such a great gift for simplicity and movement with flash.
I took sooo long to get the images to Ryan because Im such a perfectionist and needed to make sure everything was just right.
Would love your comments/suggestions.
I photographed ashley in her cute, fun cocktail dress a few days before her and todd's amazing wedding in Summerland, CA. She would wear this same dress at her reception. We had such a great time shooting around the property and getting to know each other.
Ashley is a photographer out of LA, Im always so honored when my clients are photographers. I shoot at least a dozen photographers weddings a year and I love it because it really challenges me to push the limits.

If you had to shoot a wedding this next weekend, or a portrait session, and you had these choices, what would you shoot the wedding/session with.
It's amazing when you start to think about how it must have been to shoot in these formats 20, 30, 40 years ago... lets try it!

I shot Jessamyn and Martin's (Graelyn's mommy and daddy) wedding in El Cereyes, Mexico about 2 years ago. We have become great friends over the past years. They now live in Las Vegas where Martin is the main chef at the restaurant Sensi at the Bellagio, amazing food I tell you!! wow!!.
Every time I head out to the annual photography convention, WPPI, I make sure to connect with Jess and Martin, they are so welcoming and always very gracious with me.
I was super excited this year because it would be the first time I would get to meet their new baby, Graelyn. She was so fun to photograph.. babies are funny because they love to sleep and by the end of our 45 min. session baby Graelyn was so tiered and was fast asleep, which was great because I was able to get some great shots of her sleeping. I was afraid that my camera would wake her.
I love Ladybugs, they are so quite, humble, to them selfs and very beautiful.. Jen Curtis, 1 on 1 workshop attendee and I went out per Jen's request last week while she was here for her 1 on 1 to get some landscape images of this area.
Im so happy we did because as we were shooting in 6 foot tall mustard flowers a ladybug landed on me, it was amazing! woo!
I picked her up, put her in my pocket and took her to a make shift outdoor studio where we did a great fashion shoot, check her out! isn't she cute?

The last time I photographed Gavin and Jet was about 1 year ago at this amazing outdoor location with oak trees and tall dry grass. This time it was at their home, where they are most comfortable, running around on their own turf.
Renae is one of the best florist around, (the twins mom) We have become great friends after working together so much. It's funny how we attract the same clients. She has great style, I mean, just look at how Gavin and Jet are dressed.. super cool!!

The UK has a great Photography association called SPWW and BPPA, which is very similar to the WPPI here in the states.
They are the fastest growing worldwide Association for Professional Photographers. SWPP has asked me to speak for their next convention which will be in January., YAY!!

The past 2 years have been full of amazing good news.
