WPPI came and went too fast, there were so many amazing photographers I got to meet and so many old friends I had a chance to revisit with.
On Sunday night I was part of the Young Guns program along side 12 of the most amazing photographers in the world. Such a humbling experience I tell you, we all were selected because we are leading the way in our own way..
Kenny Kim was super cool to provide these images for me of the night.. Yee haa!! This will be the only time you will ever see me in a cowboy outfit.. ha ha

Then on Monday night I presented on Magazine Submissions at my very own Platform Presentation. We had over 600+ photographers in the room. Thanks to all who made it..
Thanks Rodolfo Arpia for taking these images below, and for all the support.

I was saying this is how thick BRIDES magazine is, but the total circulation is 500, 000 all over the world, one of the best magazines to be published in.

Until next time.
Guadalajara, Mexico. A workshop in a Hacienda built 350 years ago.
A Workshop in Mexico with special guests Cameron Ingalls and noted Painter and Inspirational speaker Karina Puente
Super 8 Filmed by Joel Serrato of Joel Serrato Films
The Mexico Workshop registration is now open for November 2008, and Im SUPER excited to announce Cameron Ingalls and noted painter and inspirational speaker Karina Puente will be our special guests.
Cameron Ingalls is a great friend of mine with a heart of gold. His work is fun and very edgy. He leads the way as one of the most sought after wedding photographers today.
Karina is just 24 years young, she is the most creative artist/painter I know. She has been commissioned to create art for clients all over the world. Karina is also an inspirational speaker and travels the world sharing her love for art.
Registration is open, and because last year the Mexico workshop booked so quickly I have added 2 dates. Workshops are limited to a 12 photographers in each class.
I have to say that I have been submitting and getting published in national and international wedding magazines for years and my all time favorite wedding magazine is Pacific Weddings.
When I submit to magazines I want to submit to those that represent who Iam as an artist and also as a person. Im huge into design and beautiful things, images, and colors. Pacific Weddings magazine has the best designed real weddings I have ever seen. They usually showcase more images than most magazines out there and they do their research and design their pages around the photographs and the brides and grooms theme, making me as a wedding photographer look amazing.
This image below is an online ad campaign they are running using my shoe shot of Jennie and Bret. This wedding was published in PW last year in the "pink" issue. If you are attending my presentation at WPPI you will be receiving a complimentary magazine from Pacific Weddings.
It's kinda scary that WPPI is like 2 weeks away.. Yikes!! Well I know a bunch of you are going and I wanted to say hi to those that I have been meeting through my blog.
Also here is my schedule just so you know where to find me. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to stop me and say hello.

So come on by and say hello! Who is coming?
I photographed baby Matthew (Teo), Joel Serrato of Joel Serrato Films Nephew last week. I snapped some shots of his first hair cut, and then some of him in the vintage tub! Teo loved splashing in the tub and playing with the bubbles as you can see in the photos.
