Jesh is one of the most talented Fine Art Wedding photographers I know and Im super excited to have him present at the Mexico workshop. We have become great friends over the past year. You don't want to miss this amazing opportunity.

Dennis is an award winning photographer and one of the top judges at WPPI. He will also be joining us and presenting on competition submissions and what the judges look for, and what is up and coming in our wedding photography industry. Dennis shot a wedding with me in Scotland and since have become great friends as well.

Im honored that the Wedding Photographers Network in Singapore have asked me to conduct a 3 day workshop. So Linda and I are on our way to Singapore. Im kinda freaking out, cause the flight total is 18 hours. I can't wait to get there though, I've heard It's just beautiful.

i've been perusing through some photography blogs to gather some ideas for my friends' weddings. there were no blogs back when i planned my wedding (just last year) and now planning brides have the fortune and advantage of checking out photographers' real work.

For those of you who are still looking for a photographer, i really encourage you to find a real photojournalist. If you are down to splurge on a photographer, i'd recommend jose villa. he uses film and his photos are timeless and will be amazing to even your grandchildren. i'm not saying film is better, but you at least know that the beauty of his work is based on raw talent.

I photographed Rienne and Oliver in Newport Beach this weekend! So much fun! we had a lil' down time, so guess where we were? ;)

I had a ton of fun photographing Valerie and baby Ava. This is actually 2 separate shoots. Notice the baby in belly and then Ava and her new baby sister two weeks later.

Yes, the name of my vintage camera is Baby Rollei. It's called a baby rollei because the negative size is 4 cm x 4cm. Here is just 1 images from it. The photo actually has a nice natural texture to it. Nothing was done to the photo digitally.

As promised here is the highlights of Anna and Cameron's Super 8 film I shot of them at their awesome wedding. Gina of Lola Video did an amazing job on the editing. Enjoy!

Elaine and Heath are getting married at the Bacara in Santa Barbara. I love the Bacara.. I have a ton of Weddings there this year.

Carrie and Jay were married June 03, 2006 in La Jolla, CA. Carrie was on the Martha Stewart Apprentice show. I was so excited to shoot their wedding.

Automotive Lease Guide of Santa Barbara had their last softball game of the season a couple weeks ago. So Joel and I went out and enjoyed the game. It was so much fun cheering our team on.. GO ALG!!

Recently I have been playing around with these cool textures I created, Im having a blast with it. More coming soon..

Very excited to Introduce my new Paint Brush (well not really).. If you know me, you know that Im not into equipment, I keep it very simple..you don't need the most expensive equipment in the world and the newest thing out there to create beauty. Im a minimalist and I love it that way, but I couldn't pass this lil' one up..

As you know I shoot 100% film, there are many reasons for this (i wont get into this one today). The main reason is because of the "look" I love, raw, clean, vintage, the list goes on..

Today I bought an old (new for me) Rollei Camera, It's so cute looking.. tee hee.. I can't wait to incorporate it in my weddings, and kids sessions.
